Samsung devices seem to be next in line to receive Android 4.4 KitKat in January. The Galaxy S4 and Note 3 should of course be the first to receive the improved UI with roll outs extending to the Galaxy S3 and Note 2 in March or April.
The newly improved UI, codenamed KitKat improves performance dramatically in part due to its Project Svelte, the succesor of Project Butter. Users can expect a dramatic increase in speed and overall smoothness because of the enhancements made to RAM management.
However like all Google announcements, nothing has been set in stone. Changes can be made so keep your fingers crossed.
